Life has been super hectic between working and sleeping extra, much extra. For those of you who didn't know...yes...I am pregnant with number 1, due July 30! I am currently in week 28. It is officially a boy (confirmed twice already!). We are excited and a bit anxious with the life altering changes that will be here in just a few weeks! We had an appointment with the OB today and everything is checking out fine with the baby so far. He's just the right size, I'm just the right size, and all his parts appear to be there. I'm feeling really great now. I have passed both the 1 hour and 3 hour gestational diabetes tests. My aversion to foul smells is gradually waning. Nausea is completely gone. My energy has finally returned and my appetite has returned (both disappeared for the first 2 trimesters). I'm still working out and lifting as often as I can to keep up my strength and endurance in relation to my growing self.  Some new challenges are appearing though as I get larger...my shorty little arms just don't seem long enough most of the time, my already shorty lap is fast disappearing, and sleeping comfortably has become a bit more difficult. I thought being a shorty was tough before without the extra baby protrusion and weight....ha! The OB says my back should start hurting me soon enough, hopefully not. I'll definitely continue with chiropractic, massage and exercising which has so far been wonderfully helpful.

Next on my agenda...reading more books on babies, getting out there and buying a few odds and ends in case the baby arrives early, and packing that hospital bag just in case...

So it's Monday again... we're in the midst of a flurry of packing for the move next week back to Bolingbrook. (No, I'm not sure how I feel about moving back. People are gonna think I never left!). But change is a good thing. I'm also starting my new jobs today (4 new jobs I should say) and ready to get my feet wet in a new territory of the therapy world.
